It was a pleasure to volunteer with Garry. The things he told me about his ostomy in the late 1960s were unbelievable, like wearing a metal flange with a rubber bag and using a type of cement to adhere it. It’s wonderful that he lived through so many positive changes to ostomies over the decades, and generously shared his wisdom within the community. He was such a sweet, kind guy, and fun to be around. I will truly miss him!
Garry was a very kind man, sharing his time and talents with others over many years.
Garry was a very pleasant person to volunteer and work with for COS. He always had a pleasant smile and positive attitude. A very conscientious man and it was interesting to hear his experiences and changes with his Ostomy. I will certainly miss him!
