Mad Melodie Kreations Fundraiser For Ostomy Youth Camp 2024

Mad Melodie Kreations is on a mission, and we want you to be a part of it! This year, we aim to bring joy and unforgettable experiences to a child’s life by sponsoring their attendance at the Ostomy Canada Youth Camp. Held in the beautiful setting of Easter Seals Camp Horizon near Bragg Creek, Alberta, this camp provides a unique blend of fun, support, and education for young people aged 9-18 who face ostomy-related challenges, including those with j-pouches, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, bladder exstrophy, cancer, cecostomy tubes, Mitrofanoff, or spina bifida.

As a talented craft community in Calgary, we have the power to make a substantial impact on a child’s life. Melodie, the heart behind Mad Melodie Kreations, knows firsthand the significance of this camp. At 16, she attended Ostomy Youth Camp, finding a community that supported her through the challenges of living with a Urinary Koch Pouch (Continent Urostomy). Her experience was life-changing, providing her with the confidence and camaraderie that everyone deserves to feel, especially in their youth.

Today, Melodie is dedicated to giving back, wishing to sponsor a child to experience the same support and joy she found. The cost for one camper to attend is $1,250, excluding travel expenses. With your help, we can ensure that financial limitations do not prevent a deserving child from attending this summer.
