Perhaps you had a reversal, or your stoma size changed. Did a loved one with a stoma recently pass away? Don’t throw those supplies away! Many ostomates around the globe are in need!
Friends of Ostomates Worldwide (Canada)
FOWC is a non-profit organization operated solely by volunteers. Since 1986, they have collected and sent over 50,000 KG of ostomy supplies and literature to more than 52 needy countries. FOWC endeavours to improve the quality of life of people with ostomies and assist in educating their caregivers in countries where the latest technology is not available. They works in cooperation with the International Ostomy Association in shipping products. Calgary Ostomy Society is a member of FOWC, and supports them in a number of ways, including donations to assist with shipping fees, and bi-annual Pack-Ups!

FOWC is no longer able to accept anything other than ostomy pouches, skin barriers, flanges, rings, pastes and paste strips, barrier extenders, skin barrier /protectant wipes, belts, clamps, and powders.
Packaged products are preferred, but if you have loose items like pouches, wafers, flanges, rings, we can accept Ziploc bags that are clearly marked with the following: • Company name (i.e., Hollister, Convatec, Coloplast) • Product line (i.e., Sensura, Mio, New Image, Surfit) • System (i.e., 1 piece drainable or non, 2 piece drainable or non) No liquids please!Where Can I Drop Off Donations?
